Chaniartoon awards ‘Autumn Winds, Spring Winds and Two Doves’

The Chaniartoon – International Comic & Animation Festival in Greece has awarded Iranian short animation ‘Autumn Winds, Spring Winds and Two Doves’.

Directed by Sadeq Javadi, the 8-minute animation won the award for best music at the fifth edition of the Greek event.

‘Autumn Winds, Spring Winds and Two Doves’ is an adaptation of a book with the same name written by Ahmad-Reza Ahmadi.

The animation has previously participated in a number of global events, including the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film in Germany, the Montreal Festival du nouveau cinema in Canada, the International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh, and the Cartoon Club- International Festival of Animation Cinema, Comics and Game- in Italy.

The Chaniartoon is an annual festival dedicated to comic, illustration and animation.

The fifth Chaniartoon, currently running on the Greek island of Crete in Chania, has been scheduled for September 13-28, 2021.
